The next Texas Chainsaw Massacre

hi everyone, i just joined and tried to find any mention of TCM: the beginning...but i just couldnt' get through all the threads! man, you guys are chatty!! i was wondering if anyone has heard of this movie. i walked into a theater as the trailer was in progress and my mouth dropped open. any thoughts on if this is a good idea? what did everyone think of the remake?

I enjoyed the remake and will go and check out the new flick. It can't be any worse the The Next Generation. The upcoming action figures look really cool.

i, too, enjoyed the remake. they really gored it up compared to the original. it's funny to watch the original after watching so many newer flicks. toby did an amazing job of scaring w/o much mutilation.

I gotta say I found the TCM remake upsetting. Sure there were a couple of entertaining shots, but the original had a visceral sense of danger that the remake never came close to approaching.

It'll take something truly inspired to make me like this prequel.
