The Begotten

Hi there folks

I have been searching around the UK for quite some time now for the DVD release of 'The Begotten'. Obviously it is as scarce as rocking horse shit and yes I have seen it for sale for like £75.00 + on Amazon/Ebay - Iwas wondering if anyone on here knows of any sites where I can pick this up for a more reasonable price rather than having to remortgage my home.

Thanks in advance

I think your two best bets are

a.) Rent a copy & burn it.

b.) Wait for a re-release, if there ever is one.

I am beginning to think you are right my friend. Unfortunately I am a collector and I hate it when I have to resort to burning DVD's - I had to with Puppet Master 4 & 5 on DVD. I also think finding a place that actually has to rent in UK is going to be a problem but I won't know until I look - thanks for the advice. Fingers crossed anyway.

Hmmm....I know it's on Netflix in America. I feel your pain, I would much rather have originals. That being said, a quick search on Begotten showed me the lowest available price was $57US. That's a little much.

There might be small hope for a re-issue, though. I think it's getting a small theatrical release in France late this year...

I didn't know that...Thanks for the info buddy. I will keep a look out for any re-issue's etc.

This is just one of those movies I keep hearing whispers about...having never seen it the intrigue is beginning to get the better if me...

I'm looking at a pristine copy of it right now, which was bought for the hugely inflated price of £0.$00.

Is it even available to rent in America?
