Hello strange people, old Horror fan here!

Does anyone else out there remember a little movie called C.H.U.D. (short for cannabalistic humanoid underground dwellers)? I saw it on video in the eighties and thought it was pretty cool (in a low budget kind of way).

Why doesn't the appalling Zone Horror channel dig out some of the eighties straight to video classics? They could start with this one, Titan Find and Kindred.

First post so if you're going to go for me make it with something quick and painless please!

I actually just picked this up last week in the bargain bin for $6.99.

I loved C.H.U.D. and C.H.U.D. 2: Bud the Chud. I don't have either one of them right now but I do own The Kindred.....Rod Steiger and K.Y. Jelly. How can you possibly go wrong with that?:p

"Titan Find" --this was titled "Creature" in the US, and I liked the title "Titan Find" better, but uh, well, I don't know, I guess "Creature" is a good title too. A good monster flick overall! Silly stupid but fun.

My friend is directing the remake of CHUD, don't groan...I've read his treatment and it fucking RULES:D :D :D

My brother has the first C.H.U.D and I liked it, never seen the other ones though.

Geez, I'm just getting over the fact that there was a sequal (Bud the CHUD??!!), and now you're telling me there's going to be a THIRD? You're seriously telling me its looking good?

Thanks for the replies guys, I love Horror flicks and have only just found this site. My wife puts up with my interest but she seems to have gone off them a bit since we had kids (still, better than going off sex I guess... :D )

Does this Chud have anything to do with the Ritual of Chud mentioned in 'It'?

Or is it a freaky coincidence..

I had a dream about buying CHUD last night...

I was planning to go get some DVDs on my lunch hour, I'll have to pick it up. Freaky.:p
