New Living Deads?

This may be kind of an odd question since the two films are now about a year old, but does anyone else think that both Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis and Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave sucked major ass? Ok, they weren't that bad but they barely took off from the same story as it's previous films and the only thing that even remotely tied them in was the presence of the Trioxin canisters. Any comments? Anyone agree with me that these 2 movies cast a pathetic black shadow over the rest of the series?

The rest of the series was good?!?
Since when have sequels cared about continuity?

Even the first one? I think ROTLD is one of the most fun horror movies ever.

I second that.

They're funny, but they aren't necessarily good.

That being said, those types of movies (or the series of them) can't really be "hurt" by sequels... perfect example, Friday the 13th series.

Let me get this straight:
The ones after ROTLD...

*There's one where these kids find the old zombie barrels @ a new housing development and then their whole town gets quarantiened?

*And then the one where that goth girl gets bit when she and this guy break into an army-zombie-experimental place and starts sticking sharp objects into her skin-right?

If there were more,I haven't seen them.

Exactly. Friday the 13th wasn't really good, it was just fun. It's not something to really watch for the story because it never goes anywhere.
