Unseen version? It's probably just a director's cut, which might have anywhere from 3-20 minutes of extra footage in it, but all in all it will be pretty much the same film. I haven't seen anything but the theatrical release though so I couldn't decipher any specific differences for ya.

My advice would be to rent the director's cut and just keep the one you have. No sense in owning 2 of the same movie.

I saw the uncut version if that's what you mean? It's the only one I've seen so I dont know what the original was like
But my friend was watchign it with me and she'd seen the original and she said there was like a scene where I think he cut off his fingers with a chainsaw, I'm sure it was that, it was either that or the drill and you actually see it instead of just seeing his face apparently that was one of the differences.

I've heard rumors of an alternate ending, but I think that's a rumor about every movie.

If this isnt the uncut version, which i already saw, i can not imagine what would have been "restored"...

MORE tits perhaps? man.. I hope mr Roth get slaid in the near future so he can make a horror movie and not a jerkoff flick with some blood...
