Help me with a horror....???
 

Firstly a big hello, my first thread of many im sure.

Secondly, i want to track down a horror that im pretty sure is vampire and/or dracula based.
Its been many moons since I saw it on tv, and it was based on a guy and a girl (aint they all!) and i think he worked in a hospital (or maybe in labs somewhere!), and at one point toward s the end of the films they resort to fittting UV strip lights around the door frames which obviously stop the baddies going through them, and one point one is trapped between 2 doorways when the UVs come on..... obviously he's dust!!

I think it was more comedy horror but i seem to have liked it at the time!!! Does the UV light thing ring any bells? Its done my head in for years!!!

There was a British TV series in 1998 called Ultraviolet (Dir. Joe Ahearne), which featured vampires... and cops. Not a comedy at all, though.

Nah, it was way before then..... and the more i try to remember i dont think it was supposed to be a comedy at all, its just my sense of humour watching horrors sometimes.

If i remember rightly, blood from the hospital was being taken for the vampires, but its the UV strip lights that i thought would jog someones memory more that anything.....!
