apologies, this is a bad precedent to set. i just copy/ pasted in the original email as my friend works for a group of charitable pro-animal organisations that lobby parliament and so it was a trusted source.

I don't have to read it too know. China's horrible track record to dogs and all animals alike. If anyone seen the videos of what people do to dogs, you would either break down crying or get so angry, you'll want harm these people. Which I can't blame you.

I hate to be a pessimist, but petitions never work. Only government action and boycotts.

America's cruelty to cows and chickens isn't any better. As long as we are out of sight of the violence, Chickens being Brutely slaughtered and kept in shit ridden cages. We don't care. All we care about is how fast KFC can take our order.

Actually some of us do care. That's why we're vegetatians.
