Title Assistance
 

Two murder/mystery type films I've been looking to see again, saw them late one night as a "double" kinda thing.

1: A girl keeps having recurring nightmares about her "death", I'm not sure if there was meant to be a link to past lives, but I think there may have been. One of the repeated images is a pair of scissors sliding across the floor towards her face?

2: Bob Hoskins plays a private detective, don't really remember much at all, other than enjoying it...at one part towards the end, he was thought to be shot and killed, as he landed in the water and evidently drowned, but later describes his survival by means of breathing through his asthma inhaler...

Any info on these films? Are they any good?
