yesterday me and 3 friends went to the skate park and this 3 year old boy was there and hw was on a skateboard and he went down the ramp and fell and all his face was bleeding why dont fathers keep there children under control

Three years old............on a skateboard, that's like toddler age is it not?

That parent clearly subscribes to the "bare the rod and foil the child" school of thought.

Who knows, maybe he'll be the next Tony Hawk.....a very angry and pissed off Tony Hawk.

People should not judge others based solely on one incident.

I think all parents struggle to keep their children under control, some are more successful than others.

:)

Meh, why can't parents keep their storytelling children under control.

Oh, sure. Let's just throw the kids in a glass case and then set them loose in the world when they turn eighteen, completely unprepared for life in general.
What do you think happened to Norman Bates?
I bet his mom didn't let him have any fun, either.

I had a very good mother, kept me safe... but she didn't watch my EVERY move. I've done worse than that kid but that's life. Stuff like that just makes you tough.

Lol. I got it ;) i was thinking the same thing.

its amazing how 3 and 120 become very close in a retelling....

But yeah. Face plants are part of childhood. I am 30 now and can take a beating when doing housework (remodelling is dangerous work) without bitching.

My friend has a kid that's like 4 or 5 now and that little fella can skate pretty damn good. He's taken his share of spills though too. Falling & skateboarding go hand in hand. The kid should get used to it.
