Kayaking!

So, anyone around here Kayak?

I live pretty close to the water, so we get out as often as possible. If all goes as planned, today will be the first trip out this summer:D

I never was a fan of goats or barnyard animals or anything resembling them.

I love kayaking!!!Most of the time I have to borrow someone else's because they're so freaking expensive, but we live in awesome country for kayaking.....Tons of lakes and rivers, we even have class 4 rapids a few miles up from where I live....although I haven't been brave enough to kayak those yet... a raft is way safer for The Troublemaker......I really want to kayak Lake Tahoe but it just hasn't happened yet.:(

Was out on the river for 5 hours today...it was calm as anything, no current and no wind. I just layed back, with a coke in my hand, and let the river take me. It was great...although I did get the mother of all sunburns.

Haha....I completely understand, being a supercracker myself. I could wear SPF1000 and still get a burn....however, I love being outside so I suffer.....

Ahhh... sunburn. I know it well being pale, white, Irish & from Minnesota...

Never been kayaking. Hope you had fun.
