jaws blooper
When Brody blows up the shark, even before he blows up the shark, where did the yellow barrels go. They disappear after the shark attacks the cage. Weird.

was this really thread worthy? no.

stating the obvious
on every movie (let alone jaws) there are numerous inconsistencies. i don't why they even hire a "scene director" b/c they never do their f-ing job. still a great movie though.

Hey you peoples. Check this out: In the scene with Richard Dreyfuss in the cage with the sharkie comin' at him, in two shots you can see the mechanical rig the shark is sitting on in the MGM tank. It looks dark and squarish and you can see it in a profile of the shark and also in a front-on shot. This also reveals the floor of the tank somewhat, because that stuff the rubber shark is sitting on has to be sitting on some surface.
It's a great scene in a great movie! And they cut before you see more than a frame or two of the rig in either of the shots. But the fact is, you can see it! Go put it in and go to that scene! Good stuff Maynard |
I really must watch this again. I used to watch it everyday for about a year when I was a kid.
