Upcoming Horror Remakes

Here's a list of currently planned remakes that should be tarnishing the films we know and love in the next couple years....

Upcoming Remakes
Macabre
The Fly
Prom Night
The Birds
The Creature from the Black Lagoon
The Crazies
Day of the Dead
Pirahna
The Hitcher
Evil Dead
Black Christmas
The Omen

Upcoming Sequels
I'll Always Know what you did Last Summer
Halloween 9
The Mummy 3
Freddy vs. Jason 2
28 Weeks Later
Ring 3
Hostel 2
Friday the 13th: Origin of Jason Voorhies
Resident Evil: Extinction
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
The Grudge 2
Saw III

I'm not real crazy about the remakes, but I am looking forward to Halloween 9, FvJ2, 28 Weeks, F13 & TCM prequels

What ever will they(filmmakers)do without Jennifer Love Hewitt's breasts in every single frame to carry the feature along?

Direct to video.

Here's one that may or may not be worthy of mention, though it's slated for 2007.

Young Hannibal: Behind the Mask http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0367959/

Young Hannibal sounds cooler than about 80% of the crap on my list.

And as for the "I Know what you did last Summer' franchise.... I didn't even really think the first one was that good. I was surprised to see a sequel come out of it, but now another.... Ick! And like you said, without Jennifer Love Hewitt no less. What can that movie possibly have to offer?

The Hitcher

Now there is a quality little film I haven't seen in a long time. Rutger 'as mad as a sack of squirrels' Hauer gives a great performance.

In many respects Im surprised its taken them so long to re-make it.

Why remake The Fly again?

The first two were supreme...you're not gonna be able to touch them.

Her career's going downhill then, eh?

I give her about another 3-4 years before her internet porn tape surfaces and she gets addicted to Meth.

I'll second that.

As for the movies....Why The Fly!? Another remake of it....One remake of a movie is enough for anything. Two is just stupid.

I'm looking forward to quite a few of those sequels though.

Also the remake of Prom Night looks interesting....I watched that for the first time about 4 nights ago...
