M. Night Shamalan
 I like all of his movies, and I've seen them all. Although The Village wasn't what I thought it would be. Not all directors are consistent, except for Alfred Hitchcock. I know he's not really a horror movies director but let's not forget PSYCHOPSYCHO. .

still haven't seen signs
actually liked the village, not the obvious twist everyone was expecting, i respect that |

I liked signs, but nothing much else. And... wrong forum.

I enjoyed 6th Sense and Unbreakable the most. I like it that Shamalan puts real style into his films, as well as taking his time to build suspense, so rare nowadays.

btw
M. Night Shyamalan |
I liked Unbreakable...
Yes, I'm pretty much the only one who did. |
haha I just resurected a post about how much I dislike Shyamalan. His movies are horrible as thrillers and his 'twists' are weak, and predictable...but that's just me. And after that horrible documentary he obviously thinks way to highly of himself.

unbreakable was ok
still liked village |
Signs and The Village both sucked and neither are horror films.
Unbreakable was his coolest story, but is also not a horror film. Sixth Sense was good the first time if no one had already ruined the ending for you although I don't consider this one a horror film either. (I realize I'm in the minority on that, but it's a suspense film with ghosts in it, not a horror film full of suspense, in my opinion.) Anyways, M. Night Shyamalan = over-rated at this point in his career. |
