An Inconvenient Truth - A 'Real' Horror Movie

Last night i was invited to an advance screening of An Inconvenient Truth.
This is a documentary about ex vice president Al Gore travelling from city to city all over the globe with a very comprehensive slide show presentation on global warming.

a very powerful film..with an effective delivery. Al Gore is a good speaker. Keeps it light at times, makes it heavy to drive home a point.

I suggest everyone see this film ..

but people wont - and even if they do they wont do shit about it.

Al Gore was in attendance by the way - he did a Q and A after the movie ..

interesting man. he has a lot of passion for this and thats admirable.

So that's why South Park was making fun of Al Gore and ManBearPig. NOW I get it.

its not rocket science - i've seen it for myself ... and i'm part of the problem like most of us here ...
it was just startling to see the evidece in hard fact.

I'd just like to see scientific evidence that the Earth is deviating from it's natural cycle.

urgeok 05-05-2006 11:49 AM

see the movie - you'll see some evidence ..
no one is disputing it either ... we're heading for a shitstorm.

the things that really got me were the before and after pictures of places like the himilayas, etc where the ice is rapidly dissapearing.

(something that many countries depend on for fresh drinking water)
