Without Warning And Phantasm

I have a question about a fav horror childhood movie of mine except I can't remember it as it's been so long since I last seen it and is hard to find.

I remember the movies, "Phantasm" and "Without Warning" being very similar with the flying spears which one is better?

I get them confused you see they both have theses spears/funny looking flapjack things it scared the hell out of me as a kid one of the scariest movies I ever saw which movie has the creature and it throws like these flapjacks on people and in once scene it lands on the front of a car. Is this the movie Phantasm or Without Warning?

I'm fairly certain it's not Phantasm.

I've never seen Without Warning, but I can pretty much guarantee you it's better than Phantasm because Phantasm absolutely sucks my ass.

Like I said, I've seen Phantasm, not Without Warning so I can't say for sure the part you are talking about is in Without Warning, but I CAN tell you that it's NOT in Phantasm. Hope that helps. Spare yourself 2 hours of your life and skip Phantasm. It sucks.

Without Warning was a crap Alien type film from the early 80's. The Alien was similiar to Predator ( hunting humans ) & he did throw crap pancake/spear things. Phantasm's well worth revisiting play.com were selling it for £9. for the boxset a couple of months a go its now £15.

"Without Warning" is the film with the "flapjacks." I never thought of them as flapjacks, but now I will. In fact, now I prefer to think of them as flapjacks.

"Without Warning" is REALLY similar to Predator. The alien in "Without Warning" was also played by the late Kevin Peter Hall. (Amazing but true!) And the movie is about an alien that comes to Earth to kill humans for sport! The killer flapjacks are creatures that the monster uses as throwing weapons. Sort of like that crazy toothy disc that the Predators use. Kinda makes ya wonder, doesn't it?

Actually, I've always hated PHANTASM, myself. I never liked it, never thought it was scary, or any o' that stuff.

People who like Phantasm are PUNKS !!!!!

I'm kidding! Me kidding! ;)
