Eraserhead Analysis

Does anyone have any insight on the meaning, etc. of this film?

Or a website??

I thought there were alot of different themes being represented, but the most prominent was definatly the fear of fatherhood. The "baby" being the most obvious symbol to this cause.

I did a lot of research. Here's the best one I found:

Eraserhead Analysis

Very interesting. It all makes sense, too.

Good site, I enjoyed reading it. Definatly had a different view on things than I did, though I agreed with quite a bit...not everything, but I like how they saw the "baby". Wasnt how I saw it, but I like their reasoning.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I really like the whole idea of the "sin worms".

And the bit about embracing death being the embracing of the radiator woman.

Did you take that differently? Personally, I thought that part was made fairly obvious by her song...In Heaven, everything is fine...

I didn't take it any way at all. I went into this movie knowing nothing, and came out confused as hell.
