Holy insightful thread Batkid :)

I haven't checked out any of the Nazi exploitation flicks yet, there's a pretty good article I read in Ultra Violent you should check out it has a pretty good overveiw of this subgenre. You can order issues off their website.

Nazploitation is great for upsetting people, since the genre usually combines dirty sex, humiliation and - best of all - jackbooted Germans stomping all over POWs.

Good Euro-trash exploiter. Enough sex and violence to keepit interesting. Not the most stylish of the NazPlos but it makes up for it elsewhere.

Still haven't watched this. I really dug Ilsa so I'm keen to give this fucker a spin.

ManchestrMorgue 11-01-2008 02:22 AM

Whilst this is a nasty piece of film, I found it a bit of a chore to sit through.

Perhaps at the time, the subject matter and gore would have made it stand out, but 30+ years passing has given us films that are far more gory and better made. And without the shock value, there isn't much else to recommend this film.

Still, there is a perverse pleasure in watching films from a subgenre that lasted briefly and is unlikely to be resurrected in any serious sense.

Ah this old thread. it was strange the stuff i found at bestbuy back in 06.

Ferox13 11-03-2008 12:28 AM

I'm a big fan of the genre - Ilsa pisses (lol) all the others but some are still a lot of fun..
