1970's movie entitled "H-E-L-L"???
 

I've heard a rumor of a movie from either the early to late 1970's French (I believe) film entitled "H-E-L-L" which was supposedly banned because partially the extreme graphic gore but mainly due to the super harsh demonic nature of the film. I did a search and nothing, but I did see a title for a 2006 release.

Jigoku (1979) is Asien and was called "Hell" in USA but called "The Inferno" in Europe....I'm not sure if this is the movie you are looking for...

I've only heard about it. It's supposed to be a French movie. Could just be bullshit rumor or a movie that was being produced and never made production.

While looking all I came across was The Devils directed by Ken Russell. Anybody watched this one? Looks pretty good...
