Prince Of Darkness

Another VERY underated classic.

Anyone agree?

I absolutely agree with you! One of my favorite movies. Love Alice Cooper's part-I thought he did very well with just facial expressions.

i liked it - with the exception of the wise cracking comedy relief asian guy - he was far better at it in Big Trouble in Little China but it didnt work in Prince of Darkness.

other than that i've always enjoyed the flick ..

some of Land of the Dead reminds me of this film .

really?
what part of land? I havent noticed any connection.

Classic is a bit too strong of a word for me. I thought it was ok but not a classic.

It's a very entertaining Carpenter flick, one of his "Apocalypse Trilogy" pieces the other two being "In the Mouth of Madness" and "The Thing".Why he grouped these three is anyone's guess.

Because they each show a different way that the world could end. I also think it sheds some light on his open ended ending to The Thing....

That does make sense, thanks for clearing that up.I only found out about "the trilogy" six or seven mouths ago while watching commentary on The Thing.
