no offense to yourself .. but i personally think 'post grunge' is the death of good music and cast such a negative shadow on what was 'grunge' that i dont even listen to the good stuff anymore. i cant tell the difference between creed, days of the new, silverchair, or any of those other bands mentioned (the ones i've heard) i thought it took something decent and watered it down into pop music. |
Here are a few recommendations I'm sure You'll enjoy.
Nelly Fertado Milli Vanilli M.C. Hammer Right said Fred Paula Abdul Colour Me Bad The New Kids on the Block Sir Mix alot (I like big butts) Shaggy Chumba Wumba |

I used to like Nickleback, but they've really been going downhill. I got into them around Silver Side Up, which I still think is a decent album. The Long Road was OK, but definatly a step down, and the few songs Ive heared off their new one [cant recall the title] are even worse.
EDIT - A bunch of typos |
All those bands you listed are the most formulaic "paycheck" bands... Breaking Benjamins? Come on, man.

Isn't "post-grunge" just another term for nu-metal? Either way:

Bush is good (though they have nothing to do with either nu-metal or grunge), 3 Doors Down has a couple decent songs, I liked "Voodoo" by Godsmack, and for some reason I think Shinedown is okay
