Grizzly Man

Has anyone else seen this- I liked it, but couldn't get over feeling it was faked. . . its supposed to be real, but it sure feels fake.

You can chalk that up to Herzog's unique approach to documentary filmmaking. He never pretended that his footage was anything but staged. Really, how could he have? As for the actual events concerning Treadwell and the footage he shot, yes, it did actually happen. I remember reading about it in the newspaper. I could probably hunt down an online article about it if you'd like.

It doesn't help that this movie followed Herzog's "Incident at Loch Ness". Which was staged............or was it?

If you haven't seen Incident at Loch Ness, i suggest you go pick up a copy.

I enjoyed the movie. I got chills when they started talking about the audio on the video tape where the bear started ripping him and his girlfriend up.

The sicko in me kinda wanted to hear the tape though...
