That damn crystal ball thing
 

I've seen it a million times. Everybody has shown it to me. Now, my mom sent it to me.

What's up with the crystal ball that knows the symbol to the number you've picked? It isn't the movement of the mouse.

Dumb thread, I know, but I want someone to tell me how it works, because I'd sooner believe a person could read my mind than a goddamn computer.

Just someone tell me the catch, and then you guys can hijack this thread and talk about what ever you want.
