Looking For Name Of Horror Movie
 

Hi, All!

My first post!

Somewhere around 1987 - 1989 I saw a movie where these creatures, inhabiting the house, sews the lips of this guy shut and then hangs him upside down in the chimney of a fireplace. Obviously, we know what happens next.

Other than the details above the only other thing I can remember is that this group of individuals were, I believe, invited there.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Back then I had a very serious drug problem. I don't remember to much about that time. I'm "lucky" that I remember as much as I did.

With all of the money I spent on drugs and/or alcohol, I just had enough money for my horror movies.

I've tried to find websites with items concerning horror movies with no luck. I've tried google, dogpile, askjeeves and yahoo using different key words. I tried " horror movies released in 1987" and I didn't get any descent links to try.

I am sure somebody will figure this out though.

The only thing I can come up with is the movie 'Sleepaway Camp'

I hope you're not talkin about that awful movie "Munchies". I haven't seen that since it came to cable and it's the most generic version of "Gremlins" I've ever seen.

The movie I'm looking for was a horror movie, not comedy/horror (Munchies).

The only scene I remember is the part where the guy gets his lips sewed up and hung upside in the chimney's fireplace and "just assuming" they did to the other invited house guests more deadly acts.
