From a newbie obviously. I have a gift for stating the obvious. I love horror in any form. Especially Lovecraft, I guess you see that by the user name. Going to look over the forums now. Hope to get to know you all.

Glad you came, Hope you enjoy it here, I wish I could understand Lovecraft, his writing is too damn hard for me to understand. Ive tried many times to sit down, read it , and understand it. But I never do. Anyway Welcome!

Thanks for the welcomes. I struggled through Lovecraft too. Then I saw Reanimator and it all clicked. This guy is a weirdo. I've loved him since. :D

Asenath, welcome. Grate username. I am a Lovecraft fan myself. To understand a little about HPL,the basics may help. Bouth of his birth parents eventualy ended there days screaming the rest of there lives out in an house for the insane. He, Mr. Lovecraft, was a strict materealist and clamed to belive in nothing. The world and the universe was decidedly hostel to man and we were at the mercy of uncaring forces bent on destroying us.All told, a grim reminder of our plight. If you notice, in most of his stories the people seek the horrors out thus, bringing doom on themselfs by there meddeling.

What's up AseofBase, I like your name. I enjoyed that band when I was a little swedish boy too. "I Saw the Sign" really made me question my religion and sexuality. Then I realized I'm a straight Christian... yep.
