come on newb - you know i've got to be drinking if i'm spending this much time posting on HDC (one hand types the other tips the cool frosty refreshment into my mouth - uhmmm - beer)

Guys, what's wrong with me? I just don't like beer.
I went to this in Columbia SC and to this bar called The Flying Saucer (Newb, this is heaven for you) where there's over 100 types of beer and it's brought to you by saucy young college girls. I tried several kinds of beer, none of which tickled my fancy. Liquor (is quicker) I can do, but beer doesn't do it for me flavor wise. |

i still respect you |
Thanks:) But seriously, some of you would love that place. Girls in short skirts with knee socks serving you pints of beer from all over the world. Who needs a travel agent?
Newb, I'm curious... Can you handle stout or is it just too bitter? For some reason, it tastes better when your actually in a pub, in Ireland. Eventhough it's room temp, it's better. Must be the faeries.:D |
Not a huge fan of stout.....i would mix it with something else.
But i'm sure if i was in a pub in Ireland....it would go down just fine:) |
Ireland is a great place, especially if you're a guy (if you're an American female, watch out for dirty old men). Anyway, apart from being tear-jerkingly beautiful it's also a place where even the strongest scientific skeptical mind would be hard pressed to feel something more than what we generally experience.
Okay, so I'm Pagan (not that little shit...you know what I mean), and Ireland is to me what Mecca and Medina are for Muslims. I'm going back this summer. Can't wait. |
