As an active HWA member (Horror Writers Association - the group who bestows Stokers) - I can say that these stories have not been "nominated" - they have been recommended, which just means someone put them on the big list. Indeed, the organization explicitly forbids people from saying they were "nominated" or a "finalist" until after the final ballot comes out. So this is not only pimping spam - its misleading pimping spam.

SPAM omelets with ICE-COLD FRESH ORANGE JUICE (yummmmmmmmmmm!!!!) are being served in the dining room, for those who have just got here for SPAM WEDNESDAY.


Freshly minced GREEN ONIONS have been incorporated into the SPAM omelets and the crowd just seems to love them too and so will you
