Something new to read?

I need a new novel thats got soma scary stuff in it, not the obvious "stare in the face of the beast" kinda story. Something sinister and deep. Has anyone read anything that made them REALLY scared................?

:D

Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next Door. No monsters, no supernatural events of any kind, just pure darkness and evil. An absolutely devastating book, quite possibly the most disturbing thing I've ever read.

Try "First Ark to Alpha Centauri" by A. Ahad. Brand new, just come on the market and was recommended to me by this guy at work.

I recently finished that one, it's a sci-fi mixed with horror story set in this space ship where winged, wolf-type demons haunt people in their dreams...

Hmm... new author, never heard of before.... I dunno..

Sounds interesting enough though, so I will see to it. What did you like most about this book, eh?

The voyage, the dark that's shrouding this lonely community ship and the isolation and sinister happenings that's completely outside their hands. Worst of all, they are one generation whose destiny was predetermined by their long dead ancestors. Creepy...
