n00b Question
 

So when I was registering, there was the section for the Avatar...but it would only allow pre-set pics. I skipped it and now that I've registered I can't find any option at ALL for the Avatar.

How do you lovely folks get yours up? I just can't seem to find it in the update profile section.

User Control Panel For Narg > Edit Options

..:rolleyes: in the bottom of the edit option page you can change and upload avatar

Thank you for the help Slasherman, it's slightly different here than other boards I have used...plus being distracted at work doesn't help this much. ;)

Ah just in that the Avatar is usually on the register page, can do that first thing. This board seems to have more "options" than most of the music ones I'm used to posting on. I guess I was just a little lost. ;)

That and requiring a post or whatever to be able to pick beyond the preset Avatars...I thought that was a little odd.

Ya, ive been off and on this site for a long time now and I still forget how to do the custom avatar from time to time

i originally had trouble with the custom avatars myself.

Reason being, i was using netscape. For some reason, the upload box was no existant in netscape.
