looking for a movie

it was in 1987 or 88 I think I was about an old man who was a witch and wanted to convert his grandson into his cukt as well. the grandfather had sex with his daughter I think. the kids brother was a cop and he ended up beening in the cult after his grandfather died. there was some hard rock scenes. does anyone know what I am talking about,
