Is Carrie (1976) good?

Cause I rented it and I'm gonna watch it tonight, and I just wanted to know if it's a good movie.

I love it,but it was made in the '70's and it looks it, but overall it's one of the great horror films

Carrie really is great. Perfect example of how you can simultaneously pity and fear the monster. Avoid that "sequel" like the plague though.
