Um, let's see.....Fight Club, Trainspotting, A Streetcar Named Desire, Rebel Without A Cause, American History X, The Usual Suspects, Goodfellas....these come immediately to mind. But my favorites change regularly and I just know I am forgetting a couple I should mention.

For starters

and...

-Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
-Four Brothers(as of earlier today, great movie imo)
-Sin City
-Batman Begins

These aren't my 4 all-time fav. just what I thought of to put at the moment.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a good pick, I love that movie.:) Haven't seen the other three recent picks there, cause I almost always wait for DVD. And I am waiting patiently for Sin City....or as patiently as I ever wait for anything...

All the Eastwood stuff aside it's my fav. movie.

I totally get the thing about waiting for dvd because theatres are expensive and even worse the cellphones,ADD patients, morons with their feet up on your seat ect. ect. I had to go through a bunch of crap today when I saw Four Brothers.

Eternal Sunshine..., Shawshank Redemption, As Good as it Gets, What About Bob?, Garden State, Breakfast at Tiffany's, I Am Sam, Million Dollar Baby, American Beauty, Lord of the Rings (all 3 of them) ;), Bridges of Madison County, SideWays, When Harry Met Sally, Forrest Gump, One Flew over the Cukoo's Nest, To Kill a Mockingbird....that's all I can think of right now:)

And just about anything with either Jack Nicholson, Tim Robbins, Kevin Spacey, or Bill Murray ;):D

I was waitin while my truck was gettin' worked on, so I actually read Entertainment Weekly, and they had a 4 page article on how theatres suck now. It was actually pretty good, they ran through the top 10 theatres in the country, not suprisingly more than half of those 10 won't allow anyone under the age of 4 years old inside.

Theatres are losin' tons of money now too, the article was saying that in a decade or so theatres could be almost nonexistent.
