Party Atmosphere and Ugly-Faced People
 

So I stopped by my friend's house last night because she just moved in and was throwing a party. Much to my suprise, there was a crap-ton of people there, it was packed.

I'm hangin' out, and all of a sudden this girl comes up to me and goes, "Hey, didn't I have a class with you 3 years ago?" And I just stood there.

First of all, this girl was in an accident or something. It looked like someone stood on opposite sides of her and punched her face at the same time, because it was all smushed and stuff. If you've ever seen the Clayface episode of the animated Batman cartoon series, you'll get what I mean.

But on to the point. Don't you hate when people you obviously don't know bring up some weak friendship or bond from years ago? We're obviously not gonna become friends again (if we were at all), so why do that?

Uhh... yeah, didn't I see you at Guitar Center 4 years ago when you got those new strings?

I do that for fun sometimes. Go up to random people Ive never seen before....Hey man, s'goin on? Waddya mean you dont remeber me? Good ol' Jimmy, you always were a joker.

On like that...it's great fun.

Yeah...this happened to me not too long ago...

I was at the mall, and some guy taps me on the shoulder...and he's like "Don't you remember me?" And I was like "Umm....I think you have me mistaken for somebody else" and he's like "No, Robin right?"

So now I'm completely freaked out ;) And I'm staring at him, trying to place him...and finally he's just like "Dan (insert last name here) from Junior High" I was like "OOOOOH YEAAAAH....DAN" ;):p

Scary....uncomfortable....ick.

Yeah, I didn't really know what to say to him...he was trying to have a conversation...find out what I was up to...it was very odd.

I've also had this happen with people I knew in high school...who I never hung out with...that's why I refuse to go to any HS reunions...I'm not gonna sit there while we all confuse our memories into thinking that we all liked each other back then;)

LMFAO!!!! I was actually WITH my bf at the time....so that just made it even MORE uncomfortable...it wasn't cool having some semi-creepy guy come up to me while I was with him, ya know?:p ;) I was really embarrassed:p

Well see, when strangers come up to you like that, they don't take into account how awkward YOU'RE gonna feel. They just jump up at you, "Hey remember me we swam in the lake on blah blah blah blah" and you just have to stand there and go all Memento to remember their uninteresting encounter with you.

Well whoever he was he musta lurrrrrrrrrrrved you from afar. At least he talked to ya. "Creepy" is when they just follow ya. mm-hmm

LOL...yeah, I thought of that too...my bf was joking about that with me...he's like "Looks like you had a secret admirer back then" ;) *dies* :p Otherwise...how the hell would he remember me from that long ago? Crazy:)

I OWN UP to *MY* gas...if I fart in a 'vator or anywhere else for that matter....I'd be all like "YEAH BITCH! I DID IT...NOW WHAT? CHECK IT" ;) WORD. :p ;)

I once farted in an elevator and when someboydy made that "Ugh" sound I just started laughing. I was laughing for like, 3 floors, so everybody knew it was me.

This sort of thing has actually NEVER happened to me, I don't think. Generally I remember people I've met and they remember me, or they pretend to. If I didn't remember someone, I would probably just stand there going "Ahhhhhhhh hmmm? I I I I I" like that.
