This isn't another horror celebrity death thread, it's for one of the best friends I have ever, or will ever have.
Nobody needs to acknowledge this, I just wanted to make a "solid" farewell of sorts.
I found out via phonecall a little while ago that my dog Loki had died, more than likely of a heart attack, he was 8 years old and in otherwise good health.

Always bold and strong, yet the kindest soul you'd ever know...taking dog, person, and even cat alike as friend - loyal, intelligent and protective over all.
We came across eachother through strange circumstances, almost as though fate had sent him my way, and he will forever be remembered as one of my own - my kinship with him was unparalleled, and will remain.
For now I suffer this burden as though a peice of me left with him, but his friendship over the years was worth more pain than I could ever endure.

My friend, my bodyguard, my brother.
I wish you nothing but everything you ever dreamed of.
You will be missed.

Aww ((((((Cheeba)))))), I'm so sorry! I know what you're going through - I lost my Siamese cat this past March. Loki was a beautiful dog, inside and out!

You are in my prayers. Know that he will always be with you, watching over you from his place in the Summerlands.

Sorry to hear that Cheeb. I lost a family pet two years ago and it can be pretty tough.

Damn Cheeba, I'm so sorry to hear about that man, losing a pet can be really hard to get over....you have my utmost condolences...:(
