'Car-Surfing'...Bad Idea
Louisville Teen Killed In Car-Surfing Accident
Louisville, Kentucky -- A Western Kentucky University student has died from injuries suffered while car surfing on a moving vehicle. Police said Benjamin Watson, 19, of Louisville, fell off a car Saturday night. Deputy Coroner Jack Arnold said the teen suffered a head injury. Arnold said Watson died Sunday at University of Louisville Hospital of respiratory failure caused by head trauma. It was the second reported death in a week related to car surfing, a stunt where a person attempts to ride on top of a moving vehicle. A Wisconsin teen was killed July 5 when he fell from the top of a Land Rover. Watson's father said he doesn't hold anyone responsible for his son's death. He added that his son had a full scholarship to WKU and had a 4.0 grade-point average last semester. |

I think car surfing is a bad idea because you are not wearing seatbelts which can cause very deadly accidents, but why didn't a police unit stop them before the man could get hurt? well i am not planning the police officers for the man's death i am just saying is should have been stop before it got out of hand i understand the thrill and everthing, but it is dangerous.

Thanks for pointing that out! I heard that Ford was going to start making some models with seatbelts on the roof in 2006 though. |
