Monday: The Most Dangerous Day Of The Week

Monday is the day you are mostly likely to be injured at work.

Workplace injuries are 20 per cent more common on Mondays than Fridays, according to a report by CGU Insurance. The research showed that after Monday, the risk of being injured decreased and Friday was the safest working day.
Sprains and strains were the most common workplace injuries, while the lower back was the most common body part to be injured.

"Lack of sleep over the weekend and the effects of alcohol and other drugs may be contributing factors to the increased incidence of workplace accidents on Mondays," CGU spokeswoman Kristine Haseldine said.

you know why that is..... most slackers do half day on friday...50% less chance of busting something :p

maybe where you live, but on my boat, friday is a sure fire way to get some over time.

Just for the record:

Mondays suck balls!

Monday is Monday all day long.
Tuesday is Monday.
Wednesday is Monday.
Thursday is Monday.
Friday is Monday until lunch, then it turns to Thursday until you clock out for the day, then it becomes Friday.

Ahhhhhhhh! Friday! Now gimme a beer!
