What do you think about "Flowers in the Attic"?

I liked it back in the day... Something about a crazed grandmother locking her grandchildren up and whooping her daughter that gave me the creeps when i was younger. What did you think about it?

I don't really care for the movie all that much. It is, however, one of two V.C Andrews books that I thought was actually decent. Because the formula at that point hadn't been beaten to death and it really was a horrifying storyline. Plus Andrews actually wrote it, which is a plus.....

I enjoyed the book but I wasnt overly impressed with the movie.

I saw it years and years ago and I liked it a lot back then. It probably wouldn't be that scary today, but when I was a kid it was quite creepy...
