Please help me ID this movie!
 

I am trying to remember a movie I haven't seen since childhood, and am hoping one of you good people can help me. I can remember little about it, but what I do remember is significant.

It is about a woman who somehow ends up in a community of secretive blood drinkers (i want to say it's an island). It's definitely from the 60's or 70's, and in color.

They keep trying to trick her into drinking blood. At one point I remember she bites into a piece of chicken that is full of blood; I also recall a milk carton full of blood. Very strange.

If anyone can give me the title I'd really appreciate it....

are they using people like cattle, milking them for blood on these milking machines ?

Well, it certainly doesn't belong in the "classic horror movies" forum...you'd have better luck in "modern".

Depends on your definition of "classic" I suppose...Still, anyone with any constructive input is greatly appreciated. Sorry I don't have more details on it, but was hoping someone might recognize it anyway...

always nice to see a vampire film that doesn't follow the usual storyline

Near Dark is a film like that I really like.
