Hello and a question?

Hi all,

I'm just returning from a long absence, and I was looking for a fans pov on something should a poem rhyme, not rhyme, or don't care?

Not big on poetry myself, but i think poems are like any kind of writing, whatever fits to get your point across. If a poem rhymes and doesnt have a meter, it can come off like gibberish (Not always, but it can). However, if it doesnt rhyme, but has a good meter and flow, then it really doesnt matter.

I think i wil lstick to articles and short stories myself, though :)

It really depends on the writer, as Vod said. Some of the most beautiful and/or powerful poems I've read didn't rhyme at all. There is no right or wrong answer to this :)
