The First Album You Ever Bought/Owned
The first album I ever had was Rolling Stones: High Tides And Green Grass. I was about 7 when I got it. Then when I was eight I got my second album, which was Van Halen: Best Of. What can I say, I had a great taste in music at the young ages. My Dad told me what to get though. So maybe it was my Dadwho had the great taste. But I'm happy that I grew up with music that I am not ashamed of.

Smash by The Offspring
It ruled, and I had to turn down the nasty language parts because I didn't want to get yelled at by my dad. |

The first record I bought, I was about 10 years old.It was a 45,and without further ado...i shall tell you....twas "Honey", by Bobby Goldsboro.Let me sing you a bit.
AHEM......... See the tree, how big it's grown But friend it hasn't been too long It wasn't big I laughed at her and she got mad The first day that she planted it, was just a twig Then the first snow came And she ran out to brush the snow away So it wouldn't die Came runnin' in all excited Slipped and almost hurt herself And I laughed till I cried She was always young at heart Kinda dumb and kinda smart and I loved her so And I surprised her with a puppy Kept me up all Christmas Eve two years ago And it would sure embarrass her When I came in from workin' late 'Cause I would know That she'd been sittin' there and cryin' Over some sad and silly late, late show And honey, I miss you And I'm bein' good And I'd love to be with you If only I could |

The First C.D I ever bought was
Bush - 16 stones and it changed my life |
like newb .. my first was a 45 (like most kids in the 60's - 70's)
mine was : Hot Butter - by Popcorn :) i think my first LP was Elton John's Greatest Hits .. or one of those k-tel compilations. i distinctly remember thinking how weird it was that people would want an entire album with the same band on it :D |
I think this thread is a repeat
