Can anybody identify either of these movies for me? :)

Hey everyone.
I've been trying to figure out what both of these movies are for the longest time. I remember seeing them when I was younger...I'm assuming both of them are from the 80's. I don't have many details...but here's what I remember...

Okay...in the first movie, I remember that there is a house on the street that everyone in the neighborhood avoids, b/c it's supposedly haunted or whatever ;)
But somehow a bunch of neighborhood kids and their young sister get together with this older man (who is supposed to help them go into the house and "fight" whatever ghosts/monsters are inside.) Anyway...when they're inside, all of these zombie type creatures keep walking around in the hallways.
The only other thing I remember is that in order to get rid of these zombies, they have to sacrifice a virgin...so the old man suggests they sacrifice the young girl or something;) I don't have any other details...

The second movie is about this guy who paints his entire body, so that his victims can't see him. The only scene I remember is that he paints himself the exact pattern of this womans' wallpaper and closes his eyes, so that when she comes into her home/apartment she can't see him...b/c he's blending in....then I guess he attacks her.

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME PLEEEEASE? ;) It's driving me crazy!!!!!!! :)

the first one may be "Monster Squad."

the second one sounds familiar, but I can't quite recall what it is.

The second one is "When A Stranger Calls Again," the inferior sequel to "When A Stranger Calls." And yes, it features a man who paints his body to blend in with a brick wall.

If you saw it when you were eight, it probably was very frightening. If you saw it at 35 like I did, the effect was probably slightly different.

YES!!!! That's the name of it..MONSTER SQUAD! YAY!!!! Thank you soooo much....I doubt if I'll be able to find it though..maybe on VHS ;)

Thanks again...it's been killing me for years;)

Just do us the favor of staying on and continuing to post...

We get a lot of folks who just come on and ask a question, then leave.

So STICK AROUND!:D

I'll definately be staying around..I was a member a long time ago, but I had to create a new name b/c I forgot the old one ;)

Thanks for your help again. I look forward to talking with you again! :)

What was the old name?

Don't worry about repeating the word "again", I say "sour grapes" a shitload.
