How do you get a girlfriend?
 

This is really puzzling me. I am 23 and I see all these couples walking around and I'm walking around by myself and I think: "this sucks". It just seems natural to everyone else but I think that it is kind of like going to an alien planet. Yes, you are probably thinking where I have been all my life but I just tend to think about things more often then not.

All you can really do is reverse your tactics.

I dunno really, chicks have always kinda just come by me...I got asked out by THEM more often than likewise.
I have to admit, my most successful efforts were when I wasn't particularly paying a great deal of interest in making it happen.
Steer clear of being too much of a "nice guy".
I mean, don't be an asshole, but for me, the whole " too sweet" routine only ever worked a negative effect for me.
If you get a date or whatever, fuck the stereotypical shit off.
Cruise some old record stores with a girl, go to the chinese friday night markets (this is, of course assuming you're from sydney too), take her to paintball skirmish with your friends....or.... you could just make her suggest something?
Talk, listen, don't get too caught up in what you THINK you should say, 'cos you'll just come across as an idiot if you do.

Ok, so that's what's worked for me...it doesn't come with a
male-species wide garauntee though. That's just MY "how".

if you try being anything else you wont be able to sustain it and you'll look like a dick.

if being yourself doesnt work .. you might want to have a good long look at your personality and figure out whats missing.

Don't feel bad or "abnormal" about any shit like this because of "expected norms" that society places on you. TV and the media force feed us all this crap that you have to be in a relationship to have a successful rewarding life and your a failure if you aren't. Fuck buying into their bullshit and becoming a slave to convention. Just be yourself and I'm sure something will work out......

Do you hang out with a lot of girls as it is and just want to know how to make one like you as more than a friend? Or are you asking when/where/how to meet them in general? Elaborate more on your problem if you need better advice than what you're getting.
