whats your country's death rate

I was just wondering, is the U.S. the number one producer of serial killers? I was trying to think of some internationaly known killers and I couldn't think of too many. Jack the Ripper is about it. Instead of doing my own research, I came here! Who was Canada's number one grusome killer?

I pullde this off a site I found on Google.

The US produces more serial killers than any other country. Up to 85% of the world's serial killers are in America. According to an FBI Behavioral Unit study serial killing has climbed to an almost 'epidemic proportion'. At any given time there are an estimated 20 - 50 active serial killers. Those who change their targets, methods, are often never identified.

We're #1! We're #1 We're #1!

Serial killers are so 1970's.
America is still very very tame compared to many other third world countries i.e. el Salvadore, Brasil, Russia.

Being that the US is one of the leaders of the free world (And one of the most developed and technologically advanced countries in the world), it should go without saying that third world countries have it worse than us.

I still wouldn't call the US tame though. Look at the murder rate in the US compared to other first world nations. We kill faaaaar and away more people on any given day than any other major free country.

Freedom has it's downside, and that is that a clear majority of people are completely self-serving assholes.

Not my fault though, and i wouldnt give up the freedom for any degree of warm and fuzzy. PLus, it's not like communists dont have violent crime.

Andrei Chickatilo killed over 50 people in Russia during the last days of communism.

I would. The United States is the third largest country in the world. Just under China and India. With that many people, industrialized or not, you are bound to have different levels of crime. Which may seem like a lot to you, pales in comparison to other nations. Try telling someone from Israel, a very successful "technologically advanced country," that its more dangerous living in America, than Israel, and he'll roll his eyes at you.

Australia's William MacDonald.

Javed Iqbal of Pakistan, with around 100 kills.

Pedro Lopez of Southern America, raped and murder over 300 girls, ages 6-13.

Havent read about William Mcdonald

but i am familiar with Javed and Pedro. Funny how in both cases, 1 person single handedly increases a country's average...

William McDonald, from what I understand, only killed a few people, 5, I think- which I am sure is still a considerable amount, being from Sydney.
