...Funny...

On that show NBC today, I hear about one guy flying around the world without stopping to refuel, and ANOTHER guy elsewhere having died of deep vain thrombosis...

I mean, I shouldn't laugh or anything, but I gotta say, I found this pretty damned amusing

Funny:
Causing laughter or amusement.
*Intended or designed to amuse.
*Strangely or suspiciously odd; curious
Tricky or deceitful.

- Yes, I was amused. I found the contrast of the two stories rather ironic, when bought to my attention in a singular tv program - and I DID find it pretty "strange", and "odd" too...hence the subject title of my thread.

Amusing:
*Entertaining or pleasing
Arousing laughter.

- I was also "entertained", and a small chuckle followed, I'm "pleased" that somebody is attempting what could be an historical feat...?
I see no need to justify what I'll admit is at times, a morbid sence of humour to someone who only really PLAYS morbid, either...

If you're done?

Some death's can be extremely funny... but at first I just thought he meant someone dying of deep vein thrombosis was funny. Now I get it though. ;)
