Short Stories. The original horror gods (Poe and Lovecraft) were short-story writers. They are better in my opinion because they get to the point quicker.

I am also a short-story writer. i dont have the time or patience to write an entire novel, let alone read one ;)

I do love Poe, but...I'd say novels because it gives me something to do for awhile. *gets bored easily*

Most of my favourite writers gave their best writing shorts stories sooo... ;)
