So friday night i watched 'the shining' and last night i saw 'dawn of the dead' (2004). that was dope, funny as hell and some neato action.

and then im gona see halloween (original, ive only seen h20), last house on the left, and something else

o ya, we got into a fistfight cuz i kept sayin theres day of the dead and he said there wasnt. well, not really a fistfight, but it did get a bit physical.

i can't stay awake during the original shining, its so fucking boring!

oh come now ! its a great film, beautifully shot ....
Even when i was a kid - well, younger - i never found it in the least bit boring ..

:P i actually liked shining, was a bit slow running but the story/suspense was great i thought. and i thought it fit with the wohle madness dinger

NOW..... TCM (original) that fuckin bored the crap out of me! soooo slow running at times. i didnt like it lol

good use of color, i'll give it that, but nothing more!
i really can't stay awake during that movie, which is good when i'm having insomnia trouble, but i still wouldn't own it.

I 1st saw the Shining @ age 9...never found it boring, I loved it, still do! Definatly one of my favorites

ok heres my question. so it is the house or somethin takin people? i mean i dont think it was the grady person taking him, i think somebody done fucked with grady too, and mayve people before him as well?

know what im sayin? i didnt catch years but the one in the pic at the end was like 1921 (where jack's character magically appeared)... wasnt it taking place much later than that?

In the book, it explains that the Overlook is evil, and it needs Danny's "Shining". However, it was unale to kill Danny itself, so it tried to get Jack to do it for "them". The picture at the end....I just dont know. Lol.
