I was never a big fan of pure deathmatch. i liked Counter-Strike, which is more strategy based.

but then i met Half-Life 2 deathmatch. Running around with the gravity gun, shooting toilets and exploding barrels at people, catching their grenades and throwing them back at them... Pinning people to the wall with thye crossbow...
Is anyone els eplaying this glorious bit of coding too?

I'd like it more, if they sorted out the net code. All the Uk based servers I've tried playing on were dissapointingly crap... had low pings but the game play ran like a dog.

There was one on the east coast here that i was playing on that had the same issue, however, it crashed hard the other day and i havent seen it back yet, so i think it had some other issues. all of the other ones i have played on run well.

I gave it a go a couple of times and as usual, got my ass handed to me. The grav gun does make it interesting.

yeah, the grav gun is cool. I like running round chucking toilets at peoples heads.. lol
