Little coincidences that have saved your ass

Not really sure what made me think of this. When i was a senior in high school, in my english class, we had to find a poem one day and bring it in. i had completely forgotten until the mornming of, plus, i dont care for poetry, so i dont own any books.

However, fate was on my side. I jhad just bought the Nosferatu and malkavian books for Vampire: the Masquerade, and as luck would have it, they have poems and song excerpts at the beginning of each chapter. i searched for one that didnt make my skin crawl, and that was the one i picked to read in class.

It was an Exceprt from TS Elliot's "Tghe love song of J Alfred Prufrock". My teacher loved me anyway. That year was the year i really came out as a creative writer, and she loved enthusiastic, talented students (pats self on back)

As it turned out, that was her favorite poem in the world. Needless to say, i got an A :)

Anyone else have some clever little anectdotes liek this?

i have one !!!

i saw this movie called The Titanic .. so it made me afraid of boats called The Titanic.
So i was going to go on this trip from Ireland to America and the boat turned out to be called The Titanic so i decided not to go on the boat.

It hit an iceburg and killed a lot of the people on board including a skinny shit of a movie star.

I'm really glad i saw that movie... it saved my ass !!!!
