Bodies in the Backyard

It's a book based on a real life situation which happened in my city to my dad's acquaintance. I didn't actually read the book but I know pretty much what happened. If anyone knows, they can fill in the empty spaces. This guy killed some people who he disagreed with and sliced them up and stuffed them in garbage bags. He left them at the dump and there are actual pictures in the book! Nasty!

Ya, [Insert name of friend who doesnt want to be mentioned] was talking about that last week, he has the book at his house. His dad knows someone involved, too. Our fine city isnt as innocent as it seems.....

I think it happened in the late 70's but I don't know.. It was before my time, but my dad knew the guy. I have a copy of the book, I just can't find it right now, and it is called 'Bodies in the Backyard'.
