AKA Lai Wong (Cantonese)

Ok, I got this movie from my "supplier" 'cos I'm into collecting any asian films that seem kinda crazy...and when I did some research and found out that apparently this was one of the most outrightly violent films ever, I hadda get it.
This movie is in no way to be taken seriously...It's got gore, in spades, but it's so fuckin' fake it's just gotta make you laugh...it's pretty much what youd expect of an asian film made in '91.

It's about some guy who goes to prison after killing a drug dealer that killed his girl. The prison is corrupt as fuck, with regular acts of random violence commited by the "gang of four" who each run a cellblock (N/E/S/W)and their underlings. The plot doesn't make a great deal of sence, but it's fun to watch. Basically, this Ricky guy has taught himself a technique to control his pain, and is therefore Mister kickass...so, after defending a fellow inmate against one of the gang of four, it's pretty much constant fights from there on out.

Throughout the film, you get to see:
*A nailboard through someone's hand and eye.
*some guy get smashed in the face with a wood lathe
*A head crushed like a watermelon
*One random act of violence against a goldfish
*A guy stashing mints in his fake eyeball, and offering to others
*A jaw, and stomach punched right through
*Another guy gutting himself
*Glass shards in the eyes
*Forced razorblade swallowing
*The hero tying his severed wrist tendons up with his teeth
*BUCKETS of blood...

And that's only to mention a small part of the insanity that is
The Story of Ricky.
For anyone who's not seen it, I'd reccomend you run around like a mad-man/woman trying to find a copy.
