Best Slasher Film

what do you think the best slasher film is?

the cliche answer is Halloween... but I think slumber part massacre puts up a good fight.

deep red and tenebre are also both good.

If I must give a unique answer, "The Prowler" has an adequate plot with great Savini FX.

these two are way to good to be on the same level as all the other 'traditional' slasher films..... they're on another level completely.

I'm not picking Halloween because it's my favorite, but it's such a great movie. The kills are so creative, even more so than Halloween II. Halloween started it all...

Some say that Psycho started it all, but I think as far as slasher movies go it's usually not even considered. Halloween is the best that I can think of.
